What is the status of my order?
Your order status will be available 24-48 hours after your order has been placed. To view your order status, click on the My Account link in the top menu. From there, you will be able to view information about your order and see shipping status, tracking numbers, and more.
How do I change an order once I have checked out?
If you need to modify your order, please contact an AvidBiometrics.com customer service representative immediately. Once an item has been shipped it may not be possible to make changes to your order and items may be subject to a restocking fee. Certain items are non-returnable once they have been shipped, so please contact us immediately if you feel you need to modify your order.
I want to return an item that I purchased. What do I do?
Please see AvidBiometrics.com return policy here. Please note that certain items including biometric software, biometric doorlocks, and certain security safes are non-returnable; however, exceptions will be mad if an item arrives that was damaged I transit. Please contact an AvidBiometrics.com customer service representative immediately if this happens.
How long will it take for my item to be shipped?
Most items leave our warehouse within 48 hours of ordering and ship via normal UPS ground, unless you have selected an expedited shipping method. However, items such as security safes can take longer as they are shipped via a freight courier. Freight shipments on average take 7-10 business days depending on your zip code and if you are able to schedule the delivery with our freight courier. Please note that freight shipments may to AK, HI and US territories are not eligible for free shipping. Please note that if your item has custom configurations that need to be processed by the manufacturer, that this can delay your delivery.
Please allow 7-10 business days for shipment on security safes.
Can I expedite my shipping?
On some orders, yes. In the event you have selected an expeditied shipping method and we are unable to meet that deadline, we will contact you to alert you, and refund any shipping fees above and beyond typical ground charges.
What forms of payment do you accept?
AvidBiometrics.com accepts Visa, MasterCard, American Express, PayPal, and official Bank Wire Transfers for all orders
Can I order items with Cashier's Checks, Purchase Order, or Money Order?
Unfortunately, AvidBiometrics.com is unable to accept Cashier's Checks, Purchase Orders, or Money Orders at this time.
Do you ship to addresses outside the United States?
We ship orders throughout the United States. International orders are reviewed on a case by case basis as many biometric security products are not allowed to be shipped to certain countries. Furthermore, we are not able to ship to several countries due to restrictions by United States Law. If you would like to purchase an item for international shipment, please call or email an AvidBiometrics.com customer service representative. If we are able to ship your items internationally, we will provide a shipping quote and estimated time of delivery.
Do you ship to PO boxes or Military APO/FPO addresses?
No, we are unable to ship to these locations at this time.
What do you charge for shipping an order?
Shipping rates are calculated by weight, product dimensions, and destination zip code. Heavy products, such as security safes, can only be delivered via freight courier. Freight courier charges vary, and are often available with specific delivery options. Contact an AvidBiometrics.com sales representative if you have any questions about shipping before placing your order.
What are the shipping charges for returning an order?
If an item arrives damaged, you can contact an AvidBiometrics customer service representative and we will arrange for you to ship the item back at our expense. If you choose to return a returnable item within the grace period, you are responsible for refusing the shipment at time of delivery or paying the return postage and insurance as well as any restocking fees that are associated with that purchase.
I know certain products have configurations, upgrades, and options that I don’t see on your site. Can I order these?
In most cases, yes! Please contact an AvidBiometrics.com sales representative today and let us help you find the exact options you’re looking for. Many products are available in different colors, handle sets, locking configurations and are easily ordered. Additional pricing may be applicable on certain upgrades.
Do you do back orders?
Yes. If you purchase an item at AvidBiometrics.com that is out of stock, we will notify you as quickly as possible to alert you on your options to either cancel the order, find a similar item, or wait for the item to arrive back in our warehouse. If we are unable to contact you within 48 hours of you placing your order, we will proactively cancel your order until we hear back from you.
Do you charge sales tax?
We are required to collect sales tax to any orders that are shipped to the state of Arizona. If you do not reside in or are shipping the order to the state of Arizona, then there is no sales tax on your purchase!
