The B1500 is one of AMSEC's Super Brute line of floor safes which features a new door jam design which offers advanced protection against a forced entry including a sledge hammer attack. In addition, to this new door jam design, the B1500 floor safe is manufactured with a piston asist door that is constructed with a 3/4" solid steel plate. The B1500 also features a spring loaded relocking device and the locks are protected by a large hard plate.
The AMSE B1500 also features a strong door that has a a handle locking mechanism which consists of 5 3/4" diameter locking bolts. Each of these bolts is drive resistant. Furthermore, the B1500 features a dead bar behind the hinges to prevent anyone from removing the door even if the hinges are removed or damaged during a forced entry attempt.
